In the animal world there are supreme individuals that are so genetically potent they change the standard for excellence in their species or breed. They outperform all who have come before, stamp their progeny with their indelible mark and significantly improve future generations. In the Arabian breed, few have been more consequential in elevating the English Pleasure division than Heirs Noble Love.
Fondly called HNL, she amassed an astonishing 12 United States National Championships in the English Pleasure and Pleasure Driving divisions from 2012 to 2024, 10 times by unanimous vote. She celebrated her 2012 national debut by winning the U.S. National Champion English Pleasure Futurity crown, followed by the AEPA $100,000 Saddle Seat Futurity honor (unanimously) in 2013, and the National Champion English Pleasure Junior Horse title in 2014. Next came a string of eight unanimous National Champion English Pleasure titles, four in open competition (2016, 2018, 2019, 2020) and four in AAOTR 19-49 (2020, 2022, 2023, 2024), with a 2017 U.S. National Champion Pleasure Driving award added to the mix for good measure.
No other horse, male or female, purebred or Half-Arabian, can boast such a performance record. And, at only 15 years old, Heirs Noble Love's production record is already eclipsing those of the great foundation mares of all time. She has a total of 21 registered foals to date, 15 purebreds and six Half-Arabians. From her 14 offspring born from 2016-2020, 12 were shown through the end of 2024. Of the 12 shown, 11, a whopping 91.6%, have already earned Top Ten or better, with five individuals amassing 11 U.S. National Champion titles and three earning five National Reserve Championships, with eight additional Top Ten trophies. To underline the point, Heirs Noble Love is the dam of an incredible five 2024 National Champions in addition to earning own of her own. HNL and her direct descendants have already racked up 23 National Championships! That number will undoubtedly increase by leaps and bounds as the next crops enter competition.
